Blueberry, Mango + Avocado Baby Food Puree
There is a very simple beauty to making (and eating) Raw baby purees. First of all, they are the easiest puree you can make. A little chop – peal – chop and a little mash – smash – mash and you are ready to serve your baby a delicious meal. Secondly, by not heating and freezing any of the produce means you are making the most nutritionally dense food you can.
It really is a win/win.
So why didn’t I make more of Raw baby food purees for my little one? There really is no excuse for it, but it was just not in my mind set to simply mash up some fruits together that were rip and delicious and didn’t need anything else.
Hopefully my loss will be your gain.
Because I am going to spend a couple weeks making some super easy Raw recipes for you and your little one to enjoy. These are all meant to be shared with babies from 6-9 months but I am going to be adding them in yogurt, oatmeal or other whole grains for my 20 month old. So if your little one is older, you can still get the benefits of these amazing Raw purees.
The key to making Raw purees is picking ripe fruit that can be easily mashed down. It can’t happen with all fruits and vegetables but it can work with more then you think – Mangos, Blueberries, Bananas, Avocados, Raspberries, Peaches, Plums, Apricots and Dried Apricots.

Very tasty!!!
I know you mentioned best consumed after a couple of hours but will it spoil if I freeze them?
I think it might just discolor a little when reheated. But nothing will spoil in the puree. Try it and let me know!

where did you get that powdered chile? what is it called ?
Hello Victoria,
I got the powdered chile from a store called Savory Spice (they have an online store) but I believe you can get it from whole foods as well. I believe it was just called Mild Green Chili.
Hope that helps, Michele
