Oh wait, it's not Friday. Bummer! Here's to dreaming.
It has already been one of those weeks - I got sick, which of course got passed on to the kids, who in turn made the hubby go down for the count and somehow it went full circle and I got sick again. Not even sure if it is morally expectable for moms to get sick at all, let alone sick.twice.in.one.week! We should be exempt from getting sick, and while we are at it, we should all get a paid 2 week vacation for being so awesome. Like a required mom spa, on the beach with drinks (that are endless and all come with those fun party animal sticks), meals (made up of carbs and chocolate) and activities (if you believe that napping is an activity, then yes, lots of it) made just for us.
So it's Friday in my world, and I think you should just go with it.
No lie, this combo came to me from this pre-made puree, but it just sounded too good to not try. I switched out the pears for bananas to make it even creamier (i.e. I ran out of pears) and mixed together avocados with tropical pineapple for a big ol' punch to the tastebuds! Loaded with healthy fats, fiber, manganese, vitamin C and B1 this puree will be a winner for your little one.
If not, add some frozen strawberries, a big pour of rum and some ice to enjoy at your own mommy retreat! Cheers!
Avocado + Pineapple + Banana Puree
1/4 organic Avocado
1/2 organic Banana
1/4 cup canned or fresh organic Pineapple
1. Place all ingredients into blender and puree until smooth. Serve immediately for best flavor and color.
Because of the avocado and banana, this puree does not freeze well.
