No one tells you this pre-kids, but mornings with a baby can be brutal. Whether or not your little one sleeps through the night, it's rare for any parent to get enough sleep. Gone are the days when you leisurely get up, drink a cup of hot coffee while staring out the kitchen window contemplating what you are going to tackle that day. Sadly those days are loooonnnngg gone.

In order to keep our early morning sanity, here are 4 healthy breakfast cereals for baby that you can make in the time it takes to brew a pot of coffee -

Berry Zucchini Breakfast Cereal

This healthy baby breakfast is made with a heaping serving of mixed berries, zucchini and wholesome oatmeal cereal that has a good amount of fiber, folate, iron and vitamins A, D and E in it that will help start baby’s morning off right. And because of the fun purple color of this breakfast puree, baby will never even taste the zucchini!

1/2 cup mixed berries (thawed if using frozen)
1/2 medium zucchini, chopped
1/4 cup Beech-Nut oatmeal cereal or homemade cereal
1/4 cup warm water, breastmilk or formula

Instructions
1. Place the berries, zucchini, cereal and liquid into a blender or food processor. Puree for 30-60 seconds or until completely smooth. If breakfast cereal is too thick, add in more liquid 1 tablespoon at a time until you reach your desired consistency. 
2. Serve and enjoy!

Age: 7 months and up
Cook Time: 5 minutes
Yield: 8 ounces

Banana Coconut Breakfast Cereal 

This fun and flavorful breakfast cereal is made with banana, coconut milk, complete rice cereal and a pinch of cinnamon. For an extra special treat, serve this cereal gently warmed for an out-of-this world banana pie taste sensation. And since this cereal is also full of fiber, potassium, healthy fats and protein, your little one will be healthy and happy all morning long.

1 medium banana
1/4 cup canned coconut milk
1/4 cup Beech-Nut Rice Cereal or homemade cereal
1 pinch cinnamon

Instructions
1. Place the banana, coconut milk, cereal and cinnamon into a blender or food processor. Puree for 30-60 seconds or until completely smooth. If breakfast cereal is too thick, add in more coconut milk 1 tablespoon at a time until you reach your desired consistency. You can also smash this recipe with the back of a fork for a chunky breakfast cereal. Simply place all the ingredients into a medium bowl and smash with a fork until everything is combined. 
2. Serve or store right away for best results.

Spinach Avocado Breakfast Cereal

This savory breakfast cereal is a fun (and easy!) way to get spinach in your little one for breakfast. This vibrant green puree is made with avocado, spinach and sensitive oatmeal cereal and is full of healthy fats (help fill baby up for longer), protein, fiber, iron and folate. A bowl of this delicious breakfast cereal will be licked clean in the matter of minutes. 

1/2 cup spinach, chopped
1/2 small avocado, pitted
1/2 cup Beech-Nut sensitive oatmeal cereal or homemade cereal
1/2 cup warm water, breastmilk or formula

Instructions
1. Place the spinach, avocado, cereal and liquid into a blender or food processor. Puree for 30-60 seconds or until completely smooth. If breakfast cereal is too thick, add in more liquid 1 tablespoon at a time until you reach your desired consistency.

Strawberry Peach Breakfast Cereal

This baby breakfast cereal tastes like summer in a bowl! Full of strawberries, peaches, multigrain baby cereal and a pinch of cloves, your baby will be silently asking for this cereal every morning. Strawberries are considered one of the healthiest fruits and are packed with antioxidants, magnesium and fiber and have been shown to help with bone growth. 

1/2 cup strawberries (thawed if using frozen)
1/2 cup peaches (thawed if using frozen)
1/4 cup Beech-Nut multigrain cereal or homemade cereal
1/4 cup warm water, breastmilk or formula
1 pinch of ground cloves

Instructions
1. Place the strawberries, peaches, cereal, cloves and liquid into a blender or food processor. Puree for 30-60 seconds or until completely smooth. If breakfast cereal is too thick, add in more liquid 1 tablespoon at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
