This thick and creamy Healthy Ranch Dip is the perfect thing for your little one to dip their carrots, broccoli or fingers into for a fun snack or meal accompaniment. It can be made in less then 5 minutes and is made from Greek yogurt, a smorgasbord of spices and a squeeze of lemon! Super easy, Super yummy!

Most kiddos go through this phase where they like to dip everything and anything into a dip before they eat it.

Which is great, because you can pretty much serve them anything and if you have a dip to go with it, they are completely content on eating it. Chicken, beef, fish, broccoli, peas, tomatoes and even green beans are all fair game if you have a dip on hand.

Which I can totally relate to and I guess I am sttttiiillllllllllllll going through this phase:)

Right now, I am completely into ranch. For my salads, for marinades, for dipping yumminess!

It’s my dipping jam. Well not my jam, but you know… arg. Never mind!

Usually I get my thick and creamy ranch from a bottle.

An organic bottle. But a bottle nonetheless.

Now that Parker has reached her dipping phase and has taken on the task of eating everything on her plate with a dip like it is her only job in life (which it might just be), I decided it was about to time to start making my own.

And get this – it is probably the smartest thing I have decided to do! EVER!

For one, it takes like 5 seconds and not a lot of brain power.

For two, it tastes amazing!

For three, it is filled with good for you yogurt so when you eat the entire tester batch in one go while staring out the window and pretending not to be able to hear Surprise Egg happening on your phone in the living room, you can’t be too hard on yourself.

If you don’t know what Surprise Egg is, don’t ask. I am still trying to figure it out.

Thick, creamy and fast, this dip is where it is at! I used all dried herbs because when do you actually have a bounty of fresh herbs just waiting to be used in your fridge? If you are one of those people, go ahead and use fresh. It will be extra good! For the rest of us, dried is also amazing!

I like to serve this to my toddler with a big assorted plate of veggies and homemade chicken strips and for myself with a huge plate of french fries;)

I never said life was fair!

Ingredients

Instructions

  • Place all of the ingredients into a blender or food processor and blend until creamy – roughly 30 seconds.
  • Serve or store in fridge.

Notes

Yield – roughly 1 cup
Storage – store in air tight container (I used a mason jar) for up to 2 weeks
You can also use fresh spices if you have them on hand. I liked this even mixture of spices the best, but adjust them as your taste buds request.
* omit milk if you want a thicker dip. Using the milk will give you a dressing consistency.
